CRICKET
A WIN FOR LANCASHIRE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. London, August 20. The cricket match, Lancashire v. Middlesex, resulted in a win for the former by 83 runs. ENGLAND AND AUSTRALIA. Received 22, 12.40 a.m. London, August 21. The newspapers agree that the English team is a strong batting side, which should score many runs if the Australian bowling is the same as when the Australians last visited England. The bowling is less hopeful, and a great deal depends upon Barnes.
