A SOCIALIST MANIFESTO
AGAINST COMPULSORY TRAINING. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 21, 10.15 p.m. Sydney, August 21. The International Socialist Party has issued a manifesto on conscript boys of Australia. After referring to the hard life of the working classes and the possibility of the boys being called out to shoot friends or relatives on strike, the manifesto adds: "Now is the time to protest, against the folly of compulsory training in organised murder. Now is the time to make up your minds not to take the military oath which deprives you of will and conscience."
