I *—; ' SUMMARY AND FORECAST, By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast:—] Except about the East Cape, where the weather has been stormy, and in Foveaux Straps, where the. conditions have been vary unsettled, the weather has been generally" fair. Moderate to strong southerly winds have predominated, with / gales at times about Bast Cape. The barometer has been very unsteady,.but lowest off East Cape. Present indications are lor moderate to strong south' easterly winds northward, of New Plymonth and Castlepoint, and southwesterly,'breezes elsewhere. Changeable and fair weather may be expected generally and a slowly rising barometer.
