DEATH IN Hosprrm. By Telegraph— Press Association. Auckland, Saturday. Thomas Oakcs, a single man, aged 39, who was suffering from swollen glands, died in the hospital this morning. Chloroform was administered previous to the operation, but the doctors found that the patient could not. stand the strain and desisted. Oakcs died an hour and a half later.
