WESTRALIAN EXPLORATION

AN EXPEDITION'S REPORT. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Perth, August 10. A Swedish scientific expedition, under Dr. Mjoberg, has returned after spending eleven months in the Kimbcrlcy district. The expedition secured a splendid collection of birds, mammals, reptiles, fish and insects, some of them new to science. The leader states that he discovered a striking resemblance between the aboriginals and the old Nead«rthol race, which became extinct in Europe centuries igo. The inland natives were of a much finer type than the coastal ones, who showed traces of Malay blood.
