FIRES.
OUTBREAK IN BLENHEIM.' By Telegraph—Press Association. Blenheim, Friday. A fire broke out in the centre of the town in a grocery .store of Schauer and Neville. The top storey was gutted. The stock in a room below wag mostly damaged by water. The brigade, who did good work and saved the block, worked solidly for two hours. The insurances on the stock were held bv the Guardian Office for £6OO, and on the building, owned by the Mackenzie Carrying Company, £l5O in> the Royal Office.
