POINT-TO-POINT STEEPLECHASE. The-North Taranaki Hunt's Point-to-Point Steeplechase, which was to have been held at Mr. F. Salway's on Thursday, was postponed on account of the weather. The stewards decided this was the best course, and arranged for the meet to take place next Thursday at 2 o'clock. There was an exceptionally good attendance on Thursday, and no doubt next .week will also see a good muster, as this well-known Bell Block property is admirably suited for such a gathering.
