ACCIDENTS AND FATALITIES
BUSH FELLING FATALITY. By Telegraph—Press Association. Gisborne, Yesterday. Charles Taylor, aged 22, was killed while bushfelling at Te Araroa. WOMAN FOUND DROWNED.' Carterton, Yesterday. Fanny Goodin, wife of Robert Goodin, of Dalefleld, a farmer, was found dead in a creek this morning. No details are yet to hand, A MINER KILLED. Dunedin, Lost Night. Jl fatal accident occurred at tha Kait&ngata coal mine early this afternoon, whereby a young man named, Joseph Carson lost his life. Early in the day a fall of stone occurred in one of the dips, and ai batch of men was sent out to clear it away. While engaged in timbering, a large stone, which they had previously failed to dislodge, fell out, broke down the timbering, and crushed Carson, who was pinned to the ground and cut so severely in the groin that he Wed to death. Shortly after three other men were injured slightly.
