SUMMAiRY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. Following is the Government Meteorologist's weather summary and forecast: Cloudy and unsettled weather has prevailed, with mild and showery conditions. The barometer has been unsteady, and northerly and westerly winds have prevailed. Present indications are for the development of a storm area at present, especially threatening the North Island. Northerly and easterly winds, strong to gale, will probably prevail, unsettled and cloudy weather bringing rain in most parts of the country and a falling barometer everywhere.
