"T reckon 11ns would take a lot of healing," writes a practical dairy farmer in referring to the Lidd Milking Machine. Mr. K. Winter, of Kapuni, is the gentleman in (|iiestion. Tie goes on to say: "T am using a six-cow plant, and tlie upkeep for the whole time has heen between £9 and £lO. T reckon this would fake a lot of heating. The machine milks the cows fast, and strips them out well, right through the season. Compared with hand milking we now have no bother with sore teats. T have seen some machines where the cups fall off liadlv. especially at this time, of the year. We have no trouble in this respect." Such testimony as this is a nroof of the Ridd's real value. "The Watt's Oil Engine is running like a clock, and it has not given us the slightest trouble," is an extract from another letter of appreciation.
