J) I'LiLIC NOTICE is hereby given that in pursuance of the powers vested in the Council by "The Counties Act, 1908," and "The Rating Act, 1908," it is the intention of the Clifton County County Council at its next meeting, to be held on FRIDAY, the Ist day of September, 1911, to make and levy, under the provisions of seetion 117 of "The Counties Act, 1905," and in accordance with section 4-8 of "The Rating Act, 1908," a General Rate of one penny and one half penny (iy 3 d) in the pound on the Capital Value of all rateable property within each of the Ridings of the County of Clifton, namely, the Mokau, Urenui, Waihi, TikorangLand Ngatimaru Ridings, such General Rate to be for the year ending 31st March, 1912, and to be payable in one instalment on the 14th day of September, 1911, at the office of the Clifton County Council, West Quay, Waitara, where the Rate Book is opeh for inspection during office hours.
