THE WEATHER.
SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological office issues the following summary and forecast:—The barometer has risen slowly in the northern districts, but fallen in the south. Moderate to strong westerly winds have prevailed, with showery weather on the west coast, but fair weather on the eastern coast. Present indications are for unsettled and showery weather generally, moderate •to strong westerly winds, and, though very unsteady in the southernmost districts, a falling barometer generally.
