ROYAL PR'.TURKS AND ORCHESTRA. Lust night there was a good attendance at the Theatre Royal. West's exclusive Coronation films were repeated, and were heartily a.pjilanded. Another film which was much appreciated was the colored drama entitled "The Masked Ball." Owing to the funeral of the late Mr. Tisch, Mr. Crust has decided not to commence the ".Sweets" matinee, until 3 p.m., when there will be submitted another of the firms attractive programmes, including the famous Coronation pictures, •'The Snail," a scientific film, " The charm of flowers," a beautifully colored ballet pantomime by Patlie Frercs, the latest London Gazette, "Poor sick man" (drama), "White Nigger" J (comic). "Jaiin. the Troitbador." Another i colored dramatic masterpiece by the labnv' named firm, "Doings at the '' . .ich." "Her new place" (comic), etc. ; To-night will be the last occasion on I which the public of New Plymouth will be able to view the now so much talked of Coronation pictures. On Tuesday and Thursday next the Royal Pictures will show at Waitara. The prices will be the same as those ruling in New Plymouth, namely, Is and (id. SAUNDERS' PICTURES. There was a fair attendance at Saunders' Pictures at Whiteley Hall last evening, the programme being followed with Mitch interest. To-night an entirely now programme will be screened, .consisting of many star subjects. The opening of the pageant of Empire will be amongst the most interesting. The i auditor will be shown the wonderful scenery of the Blue Nile and Palmcro, the golden- shell. He will also lie shown how winter decorates Nature, and several dramas, including "Tempest and Sunshine," 'From Tyranny to Liberty," and "The Stronger Tic." Among the comics are "Tweddledum's Rescue," "Her first long dress," and "A Bottle of Milk." From this it will be seen that the programme is quite up to the high standard set by Mr. Saunders. The matinee this afternoon will take place at 3 p.m., instead of 2.30 as usual, on account of the funeral of the late Mayor.
