In the Hygienic Tea Rooms a number of liiilies supervised a bridge and euchre party last Tuesday evening in honor of Mrs. W. Skinner. There were about eighteen tables, and the prizes were won by Mrs. Fitzherbert and Miss J. Curtis. During the evening Mrs. Skinner, as a farewell gift, was presented with a pair of silver candlesticks from her many friends. Mrs. Koster, of'"Moana," left on Friday on a two months' trip to Sydney. At Johnsonvillo on Wednesday Miss F. Dixon, late of New Plymouth, was married to Mr. Moore, of that district. The wedding was attended by over 250 guests. The honevmoon is to be spent at Rotorua and New Plymouth.
