LONDON TO AUSTRALIA.
PROPOSED FLYING CONTEST. London, August :i. It is proposed to hold an aeroplane race from London to Japan. "M. Beaumont" (Lieutenant Conneau, of the French navy), who won the recent race round Britain, has suggested that there should be a flying contest, from London to Australia.
