WEBSTER BROS.' REPORT. Poultry.—At the mart on Saturday we had a good entry of all classes, prices realised showing an advance on those of the previous week. We quote:—liens (old) Is 8d to 2s, young 2s Id to 3s 2d. cockerels Is 4<f to 2s, ducks 2s 2d to 2s Bd, drakes 2s Id to 2s Bd, pullets 3s Id to 3s 4d, hen and chicks 5s 3d, rabbits Is 6d per pair. We had an unsatisfied demand for all classes of poultry. In the mart the usual lines of shrubs and sundries realised satisfactory prices. Furniture.—On Wednesday we held a clearing sale on account of Mrs. Swales at her residence in Buller street. There was a good attendance of the public, and bidding throughout was very brisk. Fruit—During the week tiiis lias been in fair supply.
