air. Andrews, Grand Chief Templar of the Order of Good Templars in New Zealand, arrived in New Plymouth last night and will taike part in the opening of the new hall this afternoon and evening. Our Tikorangi correspondent On Monday, Mr. John Vickery, who had been in a precarious state of health for some time, passed quietly away. He had exceeded by some years the allotted span of three score years and ten, and was an old resident in the district, arriving here ifrom Devonshire in 1808. The interment, which took place at the Tikorangi cemetery on Tuesday, wa9 attended by a large number of friendb anil relations.
