A NEW ZEALAND WOMAN'S DEATH. By Cable—Pre9B Association—Copyright. Received 8, 7.30 p.m. Sydney, August 8. At the inquest on Mary Wilson a verdict of suicide was returned. A stewardess of the Malieno gave evidence that she joined the vessel at Auckland. Deceased had mentioned that she had been to see a doctor. DISTINGUISHED PASSENGERS. Received S, 8.30 p.m. Prcmantle, August 8. The Osterlev arrived from London today. Madame Melha and Sir John Kirk, the director of the Ragged School Union, and Mr. Wilson, Premier of Westralia, are passengers. The object of Sir John Kirk's visit is to meet workers connected with the ragged schools and investigate their views on placing hoys and girls on the land.
