SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast:— The weather has been unsettled ana showery on the East Coast between East Cape and Banks' Peninsula, and fair to cloudy at times elsewhere. The barometer is still very high, but with a fulling tendency. Moderate to strong south-easterly winds have predominated. Present indications are for a, falling barometer everywhere, easterly winds, increasing strong to gale, northward of East C'ape and Kawhia, with increasing haziness preceding a change in the weather in those parts. Moderate to strong south-easterly winds are pro»>able thence to Cook Strait, and increasing westerly epd northerly winds elsewhere, with cool and changeable .weather, especially on the East Coast.
