It is expected! there will be a large attendance at the land sale to be held at Mr. Newton King's 1 auction mart this afternoon, when same of the finest beach land in Taranaki will be submitted for auction.
Attention is called to our advertising columns in which Mr. Newton King announces a special sale of Jersey heifers on account of Messrs. Pitt Bros, in his. heifer yards on Monday next. These will be without douibt, taking the munber into consideration, the ibest line ot Jersey heifers ever offered in one sale in Taranaki, and dairymen should not miss this opportunity of being able to secure high-class stock. As Messrs. Pitv Bros, are not dairying themselves they are to be sold absolutely without reserve. At Mr. .Newton King's fortnightly sale at Urenui on Monday next there promises to be an exceptionally large yarding, principally of dairy cattle. There will be offered three separate dairy herds, which, with the present keen demand for dairy cattle, should meet with ready sale. There will also be offered, owing to his having sold his farm, Mr. E. Julian'si fine flock of sheep, and 40 good 2-year steers. The sheep, which are very choice, comprise two and four-tooth ewes in lamb, and four-tooth wethers, and being in excellent conditio" should find a good market.
