Melbourne, Friday. —Arrived, Brisbane, from Lyttelton. SAILED. Newcastle, Friday.—Sailed, Wairuna, for Lyttelton. THE CORIXXA. The Corinna arrived yesterday morning from southern ports with a cargo of 531 tons, including 1207 sacks of potatoes, 440 sacks, 152 hundreds and 510 fifties of flour, 203 sacks of pollard, 290 sacks of chaff, 270 sacks of oats, "255 sacks of wheat, 13G sacks of oatmeal, 71 bags of onions, 04 bales of hay, and 100 cases of kerosene. She sailed for Dunedin direct about 3.30 p.m. THE KOTUKU. The Ivotuku, when leaving Onehunga for New Plymouth on Thursday evening, ran on to a mud-bank in Manukau Harbor, but was expected to get off yesterday, when she would proceed to New Plymouth. PL"KAK.I TO REPLACE KOOXYA. TTie local office of the Union Company have received advice that the Pukaki will pick lip the Koonya's cargo at Wellington on Tuesday and sailed that day for New Plymouth, arriving here on Wednesday. THE ROSAMOND. The Rosamond is expected here today from Onehunga and will sail for Wellington after loading cargo. A NEW- SERVICE. It is reported in Wellington that the aitara-owned steamer Tainui intends to inaugurate a bi-weekly Wellington-Pa-tca-Waitara service. The new scheme is to start in November. The vessel will call at Patea on her way to and from Waitara. Although not fitted with insulated space, the agents state if inducement offered such space would be provided. The Tainui has a cargo capacity of 120 tons measurement on a draught of 7ft fiin.
