A GREAT TRIBUTE TIIE ft AXE MILKING MACHINE IN THE FRONT RANK. Eltham, December 23, IUIO. Mr. H. R. Jenkins, Eltham. Dear Sir, —I have used the "Cane" Patent Milking Machine and Releaser during the past five months on a herd of 150 cows and heifers. Among that number are 40 pedigree Ayrshires, and I nrn pleased to say that I am thoroughly satisfied with the results attained. I have an eight-cow plant installed, but find six machines quite sufficient to cope with the work. Three men are making light of the work, and the actual milking time is just three hours. The releaser pipe is 54ft long, and after running cold, followed by scalding water through it, no trace of milk can be found in it or the milk tubes. The whole operation of cleaning, including the dismantling of the releaser, occupies about half an hour. lam well satisfied with the milk returns, both as regards quality and quantity ,and the herd is in firstclass order. I have no hesitation in stating that the "Gane" machine as a milker and labor-saver is far ahead of anything yet placed on the market for the benefit of the dairying industry.-—Yours truly, P. A.
