SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph —Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Rev. Bates reports: —Anti-cyclonic pressure prevails everywhere, and moderate southerly winds have predominated. Cool and changeable weather has prevailed, with showers on east coast of the Xorth Island and on the west coast of the South Island. Present indication* are for moderate south-easterly winds, northward of Kawhia and Napier, and easterly winds and northerly breezes elsewhere. Fair weather will probably prevail, though cloudy and unsettled at times, especially on the eiast coast of the Xorth Island and the west coast of the southern districts of the South Island. The barometer has a falling tendency in the southernmost districts, but little movement ia now indicated generally.
