Ashburton, Thursday. Mr. J. L. Kelly advises that more than half the lists for the petition for Lionel Terry's release have not been sent back to him. Those receiled contain nearly 3000 signatures. Dunedin is first with 782 names. Mr. Kelly asks that a.V Bheets !)e returned to him by Saturday next.
