A MISSIONARY MURDERED
DURING AN OPEN AIR SERVICE. By Cable—Press Association—Copyright. Received 3, 9.25 p.m. Sydney, August 3. The Minindi, from the Islands, brought the news of the murder of the Rev. Daniels, a member of the South Sea Evangelical Mission, at Uru. He had almost concluded an open-air evening service, when a native, who had been concealed, shot him in the breast. The missionary cried, "Lord, save me!" and fell dead.
