FAMOUS FRENCH DOCTOR SHOT AT A HOSPITAL. . Paris, June 12. Dr. Guinard, the principal surgeon of the llo\'l Dieu, in Paris, was tl-.o victim of a murderous attack this morning. j He had made his rounds in the 'hospital, and was standing on the steps talkipg to a nurse who wanted him to return to one of the patients, when a man who had slipped in the courtyard suddenly drew a large revolver' from Ms 1 pocket and fired. When arrested' lie d.eolaicd that Dr. Guinard had operated on him unsuccessfully and unnecessarily eleven months ago, and that he had determined to kill him. A few days ago another former patient of Dr. Guinard called at his house in his absence and broke all the furniture in his drawing-room.
