TATARAIMAKA (7) v. EGMONT (0) The above teams met at TaUanimaka. on Saturday, when the country .players avenged their defeat of the previous week by winning by 7 goals to nil. The giaine was a fast one, and the score is fair indication of the play, which waa fairly even, but whereas the Tatarainiotei men made the most of their opportunities when in a scoring position, the Egmont forwards failed to do so, chiefly owing to the sound defence of the opposing backs, who brought off some good line hits. Hedgeland, McKay (2)" A Turner (2), and E. Turner (2) were responsible for the scores. Mr. Munro refereed.
