WOOTTON*S WINNINGS. ? By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, July 28. Wootton rode four winners at Goodwood to-day, TEE JULIAN APPEAL. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wamganui, Saturday. The stewards of tihe Wanganui Jockey '■ Club mot last night to rehear the Julian ease. At kst winter meeting Julian was disqualified for twelve « months for wilfully pulling the horse Napper in the Kaitoke Hack Hurdles. Julian appealed and the judges referred the matter back to the committee enable the jockey to be beard himsdf and call evidence in'Ms defence. The taking of evidence occupied over four hours, and then the cwnWittee adjourned until Wednesday afternoon, when the matter will he thrashed out.
