In pursuance of an Order Council dated at Government Hous /ellington, on the 17th day of July, mil, and in accordance With "Municipal Corpora- f tions Act, 1908," and its amendments, and "The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908," I hereby give notice that a poll of the electors of the area to be annexed will be held on WEDNESDAY, the 16th day of August, 1911, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 6 p.m., at the Public Hall, Fitzroy, on the proposal to annex a portion of the Fitzroy Town District to the Borough of New Plymouth. The roll to be used at the above proposal will close at 5 p.m. on Wednesday, | the 2nd day of August, 1911, and remain closed until after the poll is taken. All persons possessing a freehold, rating or residential qualification, are requested to sec that their names are ,on the roll, which is lying open for inspection at the County Office, Robe street, New Plymouth, from the date hereof, and at Mr. J. Taylor's Fitzroy Store after the 27th inst.
