ROYAL PICTURES. Wednesday's bi-weekly change ,of programme by the Royal Pictures and Orchestra. was again well received last evening, every item coming in for a good amount of applause. Henry 111. was again the favorite of the evening, whilst the many scenic and industrial pictures were much appreciated. On Saturday afternoon at the Sweets Matinee Messrs. Crust & Gjedsted will present another of their attractive programmes, including "The Squatter and tie Clown," a particularly interesting story picture of a rough and ready circus life, in twenty scenes. It is a typical story of the bush, and is redolent of Australian life in the backblocks. The remaining portion of Saturday's change of programme will comprise some exceptionally fine scenic, industrial and comic subjects. The box plans are at Hoffmann'?,

riCTURfiS OF THE CORONATION. Mr. G. H. Saunders expects to exhibit' the cinematograph pictures of the Coronation ceremonies in London at a matine# on Monday next. He ordered theso films by cable last May, and they will be posted direct from London to New Plymouth, so the patrons of the Biograph Pictures will be amongst the first in the Dominion to see this splendid aeries of pictures of the most gorgeous Coronation ceremony on record, including the representatives of Britain's oversea? Dominions. Definite arrangements will be advertised later, but if the mail steamer arrives at due time there should be no difficulty in screening these specially imported pictures on Monday.

RINKING. At the Glideaway Roller Skating Rink last night there was a very large crowd taking part in the costume carnival. Professor Irving delighted the large audience with an extraordinarily dexterous exhibition of skating, and was wildly cheered. He was forced by repeated applause to continue his fine performance. Tonight he will again exhibit his cleverness, and the price of admission is one shilling. Prizes were awarded for costumes as follows: Ladies Fancy Costume: Miss I. Roberts, "Carnival." Gentlemen's, Mr. Atkinson, "Chinese Mandarin."

Ladies' Best Poster: Mrs. Thompson and Mrs. Buxton, "Stephen's Ink." Gentlemen: Mr. Walter Scott, "Pork Butcher."
