FIRES.
A BOARDING HOUSE BURNT. By Telegraph—Press Aeeooiation. Raglan, Monday. A boarding house of fourteen roomß in Cliff street, owned by the Sutton trus- ' tees and occupied by* Mr. Foss, was destroyed by fire last evening. The insurances on the building totalled £215 . in the National Fire Office, and on the furniture and piano £IBO in the State Office. OUTBREAK IN WANGANUI. Wanganui, Last Night. A fire to-night in the block known at Morton's Buildings, in Avenue road, did considerable damage to the grocery stock of Arthur Gregson aiul destroyed a quantity of sugar, the property of Rite, a confectioner. The insurances arc: Gregson's stock, £IOOO in the Sun Office, Rice, £BOO in the same Office.
