The Neue Freie Presse is surprised at the vehemence of the Chancellor's tone, and says the speech is ft determined attempt to influence the international conversation in Berlin. It deprecates the German claims, and encourages France and shows that Germany's aolonial expansion in Africa cannot be accomplished without peril.
