THEFT FROM THE WHARF. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, Yesterday. In the Police Court to-day John Alexander Mclntyrc, occasionally employed as tally clerk, was charged with having stolen from the Auckland Wharf a case of cigarettes valued at £36, the property of the Winstone Company. The case has similar features to that in which Hadden was concerned. Accused was remanded on bail, with two sureties of £75 each, and was ordered to report himself to the police daily. Joseph Ehrman, carrying on business in Auckland, was arrested in Wellington yesterday, and was charged with wharf pilfering.
