IMPRISONED WOMAN IN RUSSIA
BRITISH INTERVENTION SOUGHT. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright. Received 17, 10.10 p.m. London, July 17. A social-democratic demonstration in Trafalgar Square demanded Sir E. Grey's intervention on behalf of Miss Malecca, imprisoned for several months in Warsaw. She was born in London, but Russia apparently will not admit her British nationality. Mr. Thome, presiding, said the Government should insist on her release or bringing her to trial, and even, if necessary, send a Dreadnought or two to Rusßia.
