According to crop conditions, on July Ist, it is estimated that the American winter wheat yield is 460,000,000 bushels; spring, 270,000,000 bushels. Mr. Beerholmi states that the United Kingdom is likely to yield 7,'>00,000 quarters; France. 40,000,000 quarters: Germany, 17,000,000 quarters; Italy, 23,000 quarters. Cotton. —The July-August shipments sold at 7.34 d. There is more enquiry for rabbits, nnd a slight hardening tendency. A few hares to arrive in August are selling at 2s. Jute. —Native, first marks, August shipment, £2 las. Hemp is inactive, June and August shipments, £2O ss. Rubber, £4 5s Od. Hides are neglected nnd withdrawn. There is no business in leather or basils. Dalgetv and Co. have received the following market information from their London office by cable, dated July 13: Frozen Meat.—Since our last cable, demand for mutton and lamb continues limited, owing to the hot weather, and any change in prices is in favor of buyers. Owing to large supplies of chilled beef offering at low prices, the sale of frozen is extremely small. Tallow. —The market is unchanged.
