Paris, July 13. ] France has decided to adopt in 1912 the British rule of the road, the French rule having hitherto been to keep to the right. LASCAR MURDERS A STEWARDESS. London, July 13. Medical evidence showed that the skull of Alice Brewster, a stewardess who was killed' by a Lascar on the P. and O. liner China, was shattered by a porthole key. She also suffered other minor injuries. There were bloodstains on the Lascar's clothes.
