INGLEWOOD (4) v. WAITARA (0). This match was played at Inglpvmm, resterday, and resulted in a win for inglewood by four goals to nil. Waitara irrived two men short, but Inglewood ; irovided two substitutes. T' le '" ,mG ) .«im attacked most of the first half, « md annexed three goals t,o nil. The j ihooting was indifferent, otherwise the score would have been larger. Jack ] Harris found the net twice and Jim Harris once. The second 'rnlf saw Waitara attack from the start, and shot at goal, but missed. Inglewood, however, soon retaliated, and Jack Harris annexed another goal as the result of nice passing. This spell was much more even, and no further score resulted. Mr. T. W. Rolston gave satisfaction as referee. WITAKATIKA (1) v. TIKORANGI (0). This match was played on the racecourse yesterday afternoon, and proved a good hard struggle. Wliakatika won the toss, and confined play to the Tikorangi circle for the first few mitfutes, where they missed several chances at goal through their forwards not showing sufficient combination and shooting power in the circle. For the remainder of the spell play was fairly even, goingfrom one end of the field to the other without any score. On changing 1 ends, Wliakatika forced play, and had the better of the game until near the end of the spell, when Tikorangi livened up and had hard luck in not scoring. Early in the spell Miss M. McEwen scored a goal for Whakatika, and this lead was maintained to the finish, Wliakatika leaving tho field winners by one goal to nil. Mr. J. Paton refereed.
