BUSH FIRES IN CANADA.
TOWNS DESTROYED. By Oble.—Press Association.—Copyright Ottawa, July 12. The town of Cochrane, in the Porcupine mining district, has been destroyed by bush fires. The spreading (ire caused settlors to flee from their homes. Rain only can gave the Porcupine mining camp.
Oecadn, a small town in Michigan, has been wiped out, < A fire started in some saleyards, and the flames spread to the adjoining settlement. The inhabitants escaped in a steamer. A relief train was wrecked. It is unknown whether there are any fatalities. The forest fires.threaten to endanger other towns.
