Each competitor fn double-furrow* to plough % acre, and in single furrow half acre. 3. Double-furrow ploughs to gather four rounds (16 furrows), to be the full depth, 5 inches, on the third round. 4. Single-furrows to gather a ridge of 10 furrows to be the full depth, 5 inches, on the fourth round. 5. The time allowed in each class will be five hours from 10 a.m. Any competitor exceeding the five hours will be disqualified. 0. All competitors must finish with a clean up or seed furrow. No featheredge allowed. 7. No handling allowed by any competitor or other person. 8. No other person but the competitor to be allowed on the ground laid out for ploughing after the first round. !t. In special prizes for Classes 1 and 2 for best 'turn-out, horses and harness must be the bona fide property of the entrant. 10. Should the entries be less than three in number in any elans, the judges will award such prizes as they deem fit. 11. Entrance fee must accompany the entry. 12.
