THE DAVIS (XT. By Cable. —Press Association. —Copyright Sydney, July 11. A meeting l of the Davis Cup management committee adopted the resolution of the New Zealand Association recommending that the challenge tie be played at Ghristchureh. A full committee, consisting of Messrs Uoss (convener, Harman. Wright, Aschmmi, Taylor, Gow, Cox, the chairman of the management committee, the presidents of the Canterbury, Wellington, Auckland and Otago Associations, and Mr. Griffiths, president of the New 1 Zealand Association at the time of the contest, was appointed to carry out the local arrangements. The financial arrangements will be held over pending further information from New Zealand. It was decided to ask Mr. N#ra«* Brookes to act as sole selector of the Australasian team.
