FIRES.
IXCEXDIAIUSM SUSPECTED. By Telegraph—Press Association, Waimate, Tuesday. A fire broke out in the stores of the Canterbury Farmers' Association about five o'clock this morning. It had a ™ood hold when discovered, but fortunately the weather was calm and the brigade was able to get the /ire under. The damage, which was mostly caused by fire and water, will run into thousands. Incendiarism is suspected. The goods wore covered by insurance.
