Mr. Gibson, senior circuit steward, in j a few well chosen words, welcomed the chairman, on this the first occasion oi his presence at the official business meeting of the church. A very satisfactory balance-sheet was' presented, showing, despite extraordin-I ary expenses amounting to £l9, a credit | balance of £2O on the quarter, making | a total credit balance of over £6O on I the circuit account. I Mr. Roger Maunder was appointed additionnl foreign missionary secretary,' and Mr. Percy White reporter to the press. I Arrangements were made for the com-; ing visit on Sunday week, July 23, of tile Rev. J. O. Wheen, general secretary in Australasia for' Foreign Missions. ! Special collections on behalf of the,, Trust and Foreign Missions were authorised to be made during the coming quarter, and a committee was set up to act with the trustees in entertaining the. choir on the occasion of their annual meeting.
