At the-Festival of Empire sports Finlay, of Westralia, won the first test for the King's Cup at the Bath Club with fifteen points. Soliiele was second with ten points, and Kinson, New Zealand, third with eight points. In the six hundred yards teams' race, London -beat the overseas Dominions by a touch. At the Festival of Empire Sports the swimming events drew Ail enormous ccowdi to Bighgate Ponds. Findlay won the King's Cup, and increased his points to 30, while Schiele rose to 20, BlaAherwick to 14„ Atkinson (New Zealand) to 10, and Champion (Auckland) to 6. Johnson, of Canada, won the I,loyds handicap for the oversea visitors. Draper, of Canada, was second, and Cadet Furniss, of New South Wales, third, Hardwick, of New South Wales, fourth. Barrett's retirement was due to exhaustion after the intense heat. The Australasian team, consisting of Woodg'er and Skeet, New Zealanders, Steward, of Tasmania, and Wheatlev, of Victoria, won the mile relay race, run nt Bcckenliam.
