SUMMARY AND FORECAST. By Telegraph.—Frew Asaoaiatieii. Wellington, Last Night. The Meteorological Office has issued the following summary and forecast:— Anti-cyclonic conditions prevail, but j with decreasing pressure everywhere, and especialy in the Southern districts. Fair weather has prevailed, with winds changing to the westward, in the southeyi districts, and squally in Foveaux Strait. Present indications are for in- ' creasing northerly and westerly -winds, especially about Cook Strait and in the •oath,' where gales are probable. A .change in weather conditions may be expected goon; increasing cloudiness preceding rain in most parts, but especially southwards of Kawhia and Castlejfoint, the barometer falling everywhere, particularly in the c outh.
