NAPIER SESSIONS. Bv Telegraph—Press Association. Napier, Last Night. Tin: Supreme Court was occupied all day :u the further hearing of the cue Joll v. Ebbett, in which the plaintiff claimed £3OOO damages for alleged negligence on the part of the department while acting as 'his solicitor in connection with certain land transactions. The jury returned a verdict in favor of the plaintiff, assessing the damage* at £125.
