MANAWATU v. WAIR.ARAPA. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night At golf to-day, Manawatu (the holders) defeated Wairarapa. for tho Wilson Cup by four games to two. Two other games were also played, but these did not count for the cup. They were won by Manawatu. TARAHUA v. WAITARA. The Tarah.ua Club sent a team to Waitara yesterday, and met the local club, securing a win. Results were aa follows, the visitors being mentioned first:— Perham heat Ashton, 5 up and 3; Baily beat Grimston, 1 up; Broome beat Kidd, 5 up and 4; Douglas lost to Dowsett, 3 down and 2; Tribe lost to Callagher, 7 down and 5; Robertson beat Oxley, 5 up and 4; Miss F. Putt beat Misa K. Gilbert, 2 up; Miss E. Putt beat Mrs. Vaughan, 1 up; Mrs. Hill beat Miss Thornton, 2 up; Miss White lost to Miss Gilbert, 2 down. 1
