THE JURY'S FINDING AT THE INQUEST.

The inquest concerning the death, el the young woman Elsie Alexandra Holland at the house of Mrs. O'Shaughnessy, Kingsland, on the morning of June 11th, under peculiar circumstances, was concluded before Mr. X. Gresh&m' (coroner) and a jury to-day. After summing up evidence the coroner submitted three questions for the consideration of the jury, which answered them as follows: Are you of opinion that the death ol Elsie Alexandra Holland was the reeuH of an illegal operation performed on hex? —Yes, in the house of Mrs. o'Sb.aughnesey, and that the cause of death was septicaemia, following on such illegal operation. Are you of opinion that the corrosive sublimate was placed in the mouth of the said Elsie Alexandra Holland iu order to mislead and so to defeat tfle ends of justice?— Yes. In view of the whole evidence are yd* of opinion that the operation was performed by any particular person, and if so who, in your opinion, is that per- / son?— There is not sufficient evidence to : determine by whom the illegal operation was performed.
