Parliament opened to-day. The Governor's Speech mentioned the sound condition of the finances and the success of the immigration movement. The speech also referred to the Workers' Compensation, Compulsory and Preferential Voting, and Land Asquisition Bills. An active policy in railway construction was promised. SOUTH AUSTRALIAN PARLIAMENT. Received G, 12.25 a.m. Adelaide, July 5. In the Legislative Assembly Mr. Pcake moved the following censure on the administration of the Government: "Several important matters, particularly in connection with the drivers' strike, have been so unsatisfactory that members neither defend nor condone it." He spoke for three hours.
