A WHISKY FIRE.
MADDENED CATTLE'S RUSII. By Cable.—Press Association.—Copyright London, July 4. In connection with the destruction of the Dalmore Distillery, Ross-shire, on the cry of fire being raised a number of half-naked men rushed to liberate a famous polled herd of cattle. Women huddled in groups in the Market Square to evade the rush of the maddened animals. A hundred casks of 20-years-old whisky burst into red flames and flowed in' Cromarty Firth. Sand thrown on burning stream was futile. The b spirit lit the Firth like a sec : irig and was visible at Dingwall, -Relight, away. kH* mile*
