SAUNDERS' 810 GRAPH PICTURE*The comfortable, cosy Whiteley Hall was again crowded last night, wlien the famous "Fall of Troy" programme was shown for the last time.' To-night the management will screen an entire change of the latest varied subjects. Included in the list is another of the star pictures that have made the biograph pictures popular, a classical masterpiece entitled "Dido Forsaken by Aeneas.'* The photo plays include "The Iron Foundry" and "A Thanksgiving Surprise." The .scenic portion is exceptionally good, showing "Picturesque Sardinia," "Milan Cathedral," and "Kouang Toung, China." The latest notable events will ,be reproduced per medium of the "Warwick Chronicle. "Dr. Cupid" and "Her First Appearance" are star comedies of the highest order. The comics are "Tontolini not such a Fool," "How that horse did run," and wlimps' Hired Suit." A complete change, of programme will be screened at thematinee on Saturday afternoon, wh<® allj children will be admitted for threepence.

■" THE CALEDONIANS. ,r The audience that greeted the Caledonians last night was not large, but it was evidently well pleased with tho fare provided by Jock Willis and his. merry men, as each item waa most cordially received and was, without exception, encored. Jock Willis is wellknown to New Plymouth audiences, ana the programme submitted was quite up his usual standard. The overture \va# played by Mr. Edward Head-lam, latft of the "Frolics," who also accompanied the singers in a finished manner. He also amused with a monologue, "Singers and their songs," and in a duologue with Mr. Jock Willis. Mr. Tain McLean wm in fine voice, and his singing of "Rocked in the Cradle of the Deep" and "Drinking" displayed to advantage his powerful bass. His encore numbers, "Off to Philadeplhia" and "Simon the Cellarer," were equally successful., Mr, Colin Cameron's silvery tenor proved very pleasing in "Home, Sweet Home" and "Bonnie Mary of Argyle," and also in the encore numbers "Loch Lomond" and "Songs of Araby." In the duet, "All s Well," with Mr. R. Ferguson, the voices Sjlended harmoniously, and an encore number was demanded, "Denjaa Nocturne" being chosen, Jock Willis is the comedian of the company, and his humor with its droll .buffoonery again captivated his hearers, who were not satisfied until lie had given double encores. Among the comicalities rendered by him were: "Concertina," "Pilgrims of the Night," "The Happy Land," "Mary of Glengarry," and "The Man in the Moon.' In quartettes the company excelled, the voices being nicelv balanced, whilst in the humorous ones the business was not over-done. The physical and boxing exhibition by Mr. Dave :'Smith, champion middle-weight boxer, and A. Kelly, light-weight champion of Australia, provided an attractive and scientific display, and was With amusing absurdities. The company play at Eltham to-night. .
